Youchi Holstein
Born in Israel moved Syracuse after my military service. Taught Hebrew at Concord, Adath, and the Hebrew Day School. Taught Hebrew Regents at the Epstein School.
Graduated from SU in 1997 with a Masters degree in Special Education and worked in the Syracuse City School District as a Learning Disabilities Specialist.

Diana Koester
Diana Koester is an elementary school teacher at Syracuse Hebrew Day School, and also teaches seventh grade at Temple Concord’s Sunday School, where she specializes in Antisemitism and Holocaust studies. Originally from Boston, Massachusetts (go Red Sox!), Mrs. Koester earned a Master’s degree in Educational Psychology from SUNY Albany. She relocated to Central New York in 2016 and feels privileged to be an educator in our Jewish community.

Jo Cooper
Jo Cooper is a recent graduate of Jamesville DeWitt High School, as well as The Epstein School. She began as a Madricha for Temple Concord in the eighth grade and has since become extremely active in Jewish education. From the JCC’s Early Childhood Development Program to their summer camp and after school care, Jo is working with kids of all ages year round. Born and raised in Syracuse, Jo has attended each of the programs she works for, and is excited to continue her career through The Epstein School.
